QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain test cases and checklists for both new features and regression testing.

• Conduct functional, UI, cross-browser, and cross-device testing on the web platform.

• Execute end-to-end testing of video generation and rendering processes, including upload, processing, output quality, and edge cases.

• Document clear, reproducible bug reports detailing steps, expected versus actual results, the environment, and supporting evidence.

• Validate fixes and perform regression testing prior to releases.

• Collaborate directly with engineers and product teams to clarify requirements and address any ambiguities.

• Assist in maintaining organized and useful QA documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a manual QA or testing position.

• Strong grasp of QA fundamentals: test case design, types of tests, bug lifecycle, and the distinction between severity and priority.

• Proven experience testing web applications across various browsers and devices.

• Familiarity with a bug tracking tool (such as Jira, Linear, or similar) and a test management system (like TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, or a well-organized spreadsheet).

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• A genuine passion for detail.

• Basic experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools (preferred).

• Knowledge of browser developer tools, console logs, and the network tab (preferred).

• Exposure to video, media, or creative tools (preferred).

• Basic SQL knowledge (preferred).

• Interest in AI tools and their application in your testing workflow (preferred).

• Any experience with test automation (preferred).
