QA Team Lead – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of QA Engineers, offering guidance, task allocation, and support for career development.

• Strategically plan and prioritize QA activities encompassing functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Establish and enforce QA standards, methodologies, and guidelines.

• Identify and mitigate risks while addressing quality and delivery challenges.

• Enhance QA processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

• Assist in product delivery by providing timely testing results for new features and integrations.

• Deliver management reports and updates regarding progress, quality, and risks.

• Stay actively involved in testing and automation tasks.

• Integrate automated checks within CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be based in Bulgaria.

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Automation QA is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in a Team Leader role.

• Strong comprehension of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience in building or integrating AI into QA workflows with a strong emphasis on automation.

• Solid experience with Playwright and Maestro.

• Familiarity with test management tools such as Testdino, PractiTest, or similar platforms.

• Experience with accessibility testing tools like Deque, Axe-core, or equivalent.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture and integration, including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.

• Proven experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Ability to recognize and efficiently address risks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience working with agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
