Senior QA – DevOps & Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage QA activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Develop and implement thorough testing strategies, plans, and scenarios

• Assess business and technical requirements to determine testing needs and possible risks

• Create, execute, and document functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing

• Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects

• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, business, and technical teams to ensure quality during the development process

• Aid in the implementation and enhancement of QA processes and best practices

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives

• Work alongside teams involved with Salesforce and MuleSoft environments

• Validate integrations and APIs across various systems and platforms

• Operate within DevOps and CI/CD environments, ensuring quality throughout the deployment pipeline

• Discover opportunities to enhance test automation, testing efficiency, and overall QA processes

• Offer technical guidance and support to fellow QA professionals as needed

• Communicate testing outcomes, risks, obstacles, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders

• Ensure testing activities are consistent with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing

• Prior experience as a Senior QA, QA Engineer, QA Lead, or a similar position

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices

• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Proficiency in functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Salesforce environments and applications

• Background with MuleSoft, APIs, or enterprise integration environments

• Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or similar

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong understanding of defect management and issue-tracking processes

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools is highly desirable

• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and identify potential quality risks
