QA Test Automation – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirements and user stories, collaborating to distinctly define acceptance criteria.

• Plan, organize, and execute both manual and automated test cases and scenarios, encompassing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Develop, improve, and maintain test automation for mobile applications (Android and iOS), as well as front-end and back-end/API testing.

• Document and record thorough evidence of tests conducted, including screenshots, logs, and screen recordings, while reporting bugs with clarity and detail.

• Leverage artificial intelligence tools in daily tasks to enhance productivity, automation, and quality of delivery.

• Actively engage in the squad’s Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Refinement, and Retrospectives.

• Collaborate closely with developers, Tech Leads, the Product team, and other QAs to ensure ongoing product quality.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Quality Engineering practices, pipelines, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in quality assurance and test automation.

• Practical experience in automating mobile tests using Appium, complemented by Android Studio and Xcode.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies such as Robot Framework and Cucumber (BDD).

• Knowledge of planning and executing tests across various levels, including mobile, web, and APIs.

• Hands-on experience and understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• A curious mindset, critical thinking skills for identifying root causes of defects, along with strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.

• Interest in and willingness to adopt generative AI tools in daily tasks, while applying critical judgment for validation and handling sensitive data cautiously.

• Knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Prior experience in healthcare/healthtech or telecommunications projects.

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
