QA Engineer – Manual, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Integrate both manual and automated testing for new features, intricate compliance scenarios, and exploratory testing.

• Design, develop, and uphold automated tests in Java for API, integration, and end-to-end testing; occasionally assist with UI automation using Selenide.

• Verify KYC/AML onboarding and verification processes, monitor transactions, and ensure adherence to antifraud regulations across various jurisdictions.

• Analyze business and regulatory requirements; develop and sustain test plans, test cases, and checklists; utilize Allure TestOps for reporting purposes.

• Conduct testing on RESTful APIs, asynchronous interactions, and event-driven flows among microservices.

• Validate data consistency at the database level utilizing SQL/PostgreSQL.

• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines while ensuring their stability.

• Employ Claude Code and other AI tools to streamline routine QA tasks.

• Investigate, reproduce, and localize defects using logs and metrics with Grafana and Loki.

• Engage in release testing and quality gates for compliance-critical modifications.

• Collaborate within a Scrum team, participating in two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing as a Full Stack QA; hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in the FinTech sector.

• Strong background in developing automated tests in Java (TestNG, REST Assured or equivalent); experience with Allure is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of testing theory, including test design techniques, test levels and types, and defect lifecycle.

• Experience in testing RESTful APIs and proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, asynchronous interactions, and event-driven systems.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools in engineering workflows is advantageous.

• Experience in testing financial services (billing, payments, KYC/AML, antifraud) is a significant plus.

• Understanding of AML/KYC regulations or a willingness to work within regulatory frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Git.

• Proficiency in Russian and English (B1+ level).
