This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in defining and enhancing AI-first QA automation methodologies for the On Demand Migration product on Microsoft Azure.
• Execute system test cases and automated product assessments.
• Establish and oversee cloud-based quality assurance laboratories.
• Promote the integration of AI-first QA automation methodologies throughout the project team.
• Utilize AI coding agents and AI-assisted development platforms for solution architecture, implementation, automated testing, debugging, troubleshooting, refactoring, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Develop reusable prompts, agent instructions, automation workflows, validation processes, and guidelines for responsible AI-assisted software development.
• Construct, evaluate, document, and maintain QA/QC systems for multiple products within an Agile lifecycle utilizing C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.
• Engage as a member of an agile SCRUM team.
• Aid in delivering high-quality product releases with minimal defect rates by applying QA/QC best practices.
• Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 3+ years of professional experience in commercial software development.
• Proven experience utilizing AI coding agents, AI-assisted development tools, or agentic automation workflows as a significant component of actual software development tasks.
• Advanced practical knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI-powered development platforms.
• Established ability to leverage AI coding tools to enhance software design, implementation efficiency, code quality, automated testing, debugging, troubleshooting, refactoring, code review, or technical documentation.
• Experience in maintaining and expanding product QA/QC environments using techniques such as mocking, automation, integration testing, and code coverage.
• Familiarity with ad-hoc testing of applications on Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Understanding of virtual machines, networking, and cloud environments, with the capability to provision, configure, and secure intricate test environments in the cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to assist in replicating and diagnosing customer issues for the development team.
• Proven experience with source control (Git) and issue tracking (Azure DevOps) systems in a collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and/or Teams (preferable).
• Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages (preferable).
• Experience using Selenium or similar test automation tools (preferable).
• Background in developing and maintaining YAML CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar systems (preferable).
