QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess customer support tickets, extract steps for reproduction, and convert customer-reported issues into actionable bug reports.

• Replicate customer-reported bugs across various environments and configurations.

• Create, document, and uphold test plans and test cases for both the open-source platform and the Enterprise Edition.

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing for new features as well as regression testing during release cycles.

• Work collaboratively with engineers to establish acceptance criteria, pinpoint edge cases, and confirm fixes prior to release.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of automated test coverage.

• Monitor and report quality metrics, test coverage, and trends in recurring issues to prioritize enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software QA utilizing both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Capability to interpret incomplete customer support tickets and systematically replicate issues.

• Fundamental Linux knowledge, encompassing command-line navigation and management of files and processes.

• Practical experience with Claude Code for routine engineering and testing tasks.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or workflow automation tools.

• Experience engaging with APIs, reading logs, and navigating distributed systems.

• Proficient in writing automated tests in Java, Python, or TypeScript and working with testing frameworks.

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize support issues and planned testing cycles.

• Experience dealing with customer-reported issues or support escalations.

• Background in open-source software or B2B SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, n8n, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.

• Experience using Playwright and agent-browser.

• Background in performance or load testing for distributed systems.

• Knowledge of Java.
