This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Plan, design, and implement functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing processes.
• Validate REST APIs utilizing Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
• Construct requests and analyze responses, headers, HTTP status codes, and JSON payloads.
• Test endpoints employing various HTTP methods, authentication protocols, and error scenarios.
• Verify integrations with external systems, APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous workflows.
• Query logs and utilize observability tools to diagnose failures.
• Correlate requests, logs, events, and responses across diverse components.
• Assist customers, partners, and external teams in troubleshooting integration challenges.
• Replicate issues and supply technical evidence to the development team.
• Differentiate platform problems from configuration, integration, or external system errors.
• Monitor messages and oversee end-to-end operations throughout the platform.
• Engage in refinement sessions, pinpointing risks and testing scenarios.
• Establish quality criteria and evidence for new features.
• Contribute to test automation, regression suites, and Quality Gates within CI/CD.
• Participate in the strategy and Quality Plans for the Unified Broker.
• Collaborate with Development, Tech Leads, Product, Infrastructure, and other QA teams.
• Enhance the quality and development of an omnichannel communications platform based on microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Provide technical assistance to customers, partners, and external teams integrating with the Broker.
• Proven experience as a QA, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or in a comparable role.
• Proficient in testing REST APIs and possess knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS fundamentals.
• Capability to interpret HTTP status codes, headers, and JSON payloads.
• Familiarity with Postman, Insomnia, or an equivalent tool.
• Skill in creating and executing requests using Postman and/or cURL.
• Understanding of authentication methods such as Bearer Token, API Key, JWT, or OAuth.
• Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to query and interpret application logs effectively.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.
• Capacity to investigate issues spanning multiple systems.
• Experience in documenting test scenarios, test cases, and test evidence.
• Knowledge of Git and software development methodologies.
• Ability to comprehend technical API documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with technical teams and customers.
• An up-to-date résumé in Word format outlining the necessary hands-on experience.
