QA Automation Engineer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage automated testing scripts from the ground up.

• Utilize WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai for test automation.

• Run automated tests across QA, UAT, and Production environments via CI/CD pipelines.

• Employ TestRail or comparable tools to monitor test cases and outcomes.

• Enhance current test automation and implement incremental updates to the test code.

• Assume responsibility for the automation test suite and operate independently.

• Collaborate with developers and clients throughout the recruitment and project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in JavaScript with the capability to create and manage test code from scratch.

• Practical experience with WebdriverIO for test automation.

• Robust experience with Mocha and Chai.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally Drone CI, including running automated tests in QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• Experience with TestRail or similar test management systems for tracking test cases and results.

• Strong developer mentality — adept at making incremental adjustments to test code, enhancing existing automation, and working autonomously without manual testing reliance.

• Capacity to work independently and take charge of the automation test suite.

• Experience in testing Salesforce applications and associated architectural modifications is a plus.

• Experience in testing standalone React-based applications is a plus.

• Availability to work during CET hours.
