QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated regression and E2E tests using Playwright or other equivalent frameworks.

• Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.

• Identify critical scenarios and potential risks.

• Execute functional, responsive, API, and performance tests using Postman and JMeter.

• Identify, document, and track defects.

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.

• Manage test cases and results using Xray or similar tools.

• Incorporate AI tools to optimize scripts, enhance coverage, and increase automation efficiency.

• Propose continuous improvements in QA processes, ensuring traceability and quality of tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in a field of at least 8 semesters.

• Minimum of 3 years of QA experience and participation in at least 3 regression and/or E2E test automation projects.

• Experience with Playwright or equivalent frameworks based on Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript, such as Cypress or WebdriverIO.

• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and experience working with agile or traditional methodologies.

• Proficiency in test management tools, ideally Xray or similar.

• Practical experience with Postman, JMeter, and responsive testing.

• Proven knowledge of AI tools applied to development and test automation.

• Analytical, methodical, and detail-oriented profile.

• Autonomy, proactivity, and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to transform requirements into effective test scenarios.

• Collaboration and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

• Initiative to learn, propose improvements, and incorporate new tools.
