Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and strategize testing scenarios

• Create and implement sophisticated automated solutions, frameworks, and scripts

• Deploy and oversee automation tools and technologies

• Recognize automation prospects within software development, infrastructure, and operational workflows

• Work collaboratively with software developers, quality assurance teams, operations personnel, and other stakeholders

• Execute routine testing and verify automated workflows and scripts across various environments and scenarios

• Troubleshoot automation issues and establish preventive strategies

• Evaluate automated processes and test outcomes to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability

• Educate and assist team members in the use of automation tools and frameworks

• Outline and document automation requirements, specifications, and testing plans

• Incorporate automation within CI/CD pipelines

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in establishing automated testing

• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills

• ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) is preferred

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE) is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications
