QA Analyst, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Keeper’s iOS applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability, and release testing on supported iPhone and iPad devices.

• Verify new product features, bug fixes, and application updates against established product and technical requirements.

• Reproduce, document, and track defects with detailed steps, logs, screenshots, and relevant technical information.

• Collaborate closely with Mobile Engineering and Product teams to identify root causes and validate solutions.

• Test API-driven mobile workflows, including authentication, account access, synchronization, and other backend-dependent functionalities.

• Assess application performance across various iOS versions, device types, network conditions, and user configurations.

• Assist in App Store release validation and regression testing for mobile updates.

• Maintain and enhance test plans, regression suites, and quality assurance documentation.

• Identify deficiencies in test coverage and suggest improvements to mobile testing methodologies.

• Work with automation engineers to determine high-value scenarios for automated testing coverage.

• Stay informed about iOS platform updates, Apple testing tools, and mobile quality assurance best practices.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to enhance test design, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Report to the Director of QA and collaborate with Mobile Engineering, Product, and Quality Engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in mobile QA, software testing, or iOS application testing.

• Strong practical experience in testing native iOS applications.

• Experience testing across various iPhone and iPad devices and multiple iOS versions.

• Familiarity with Xcode, iOS Simulator, and common Apple development and diagnostic tools.

• Solid understanding of mobile application behavior, client-server communication, and API-driven workflows.

• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Excellent defect analysis and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to review logs and identify reproducible issues.

• Experience using test management, issue tracking, and source control tools.

• Familiarity with Agile software development and release methodologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and QA teams.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple testing priorities effectively.

• Willingness to utilize AI-assisted tools adeptly to support test development, analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: Experience in testing cybersecurity, identity, password management, or other security-sensitive mobile applications.

• Preferred: Familiarity with iOS automation frameworks such as XCUITest, Appium, or similar tools.

• Preferred: Experience testing authentication technologies such as biometrics, passkeys, MFA, or SSO.

• Preferred: Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman.

• Preferred: Knowledge of mobile performance, accessibility, or network-condition testing.

• Preferred: Experience validating mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with TestFlight and App Store release processes.
