QA Analyst – Mid-Level/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop testing strategies, scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices, test data, and execution plans for Change Management solutions.

• Validate workflows for Standard, Normal, Emergency, and Expedited Changes.

• Assess risks, manage approvals, oversee CAB processes, detect conflicts, schedule tasks, send notifications, ensure SLAs, and control closure processes.

• Conduct system, integration, regression, security, migration, usability, and non-functional testing.

• Create and sustain automated test coverage utilizing the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Record, track, and manage defects with reproducible evidence and thorough documentation.

• Execute retesting, regression testing, and validation activities for releases.

• Work collaboratively with functional and technical teams during defect triage and resolution.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Perform smoke testing in production environments and post-deployment validation activities.

• Generate test reports, quality metrics, and finalize approval documentation.

• Ensure solution quality and adherence to project requirements.

• Carry out other routine departmental tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Experience with testing ServiceNow solutions and ITSM processes.

• In-depth knowledge of Change Management processes, including Standard, Normal, Emergency, and Expedited Changes.

• Proficient in Test Planning, Test Case Design, and Test Execution.

• Familiarity with Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT support.

• Understanding of Data Migration Testing and Security Testing.

• Experience in validating workflows, approvals, notifications, SLAs, and business rules.

• Knowledge of the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Strong analytical abilities and experience in defect management.

• Capability to collaborate with business users, developers, and stakeholders.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• A completed bachelor's degree is required.

• Advanced or fluent conversational English skills.

• Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ITIL Foundation v4, ISTQB Certification, ServiceNow ATF Micro-Certification, Agile Testing Certification, and experience in accessibility and usability testing, as well as experience in the Utilities or Energy industry and large-scale ServiceNow transformation projects.
