QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the test strategy for the systems.

• Create and manage test scripts, artifacts, and scenarios.

• Monitor requirements throughout the development cycle, from initial concept to final delivery.

• Anticipate necessary actions to ensure proper execution of tests.

• Facilitate the incorporation of quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Validate deliverables produced by development teams.

• Plan and carry out both functional and non-functional testing.

• Map and refresh the critical path of applications.

• Assist in user acceptance and approval processes with business stakeholders.

• Propel ongoing enhancements in application quality in collaboration with the Certification team.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, source code, and other relevant artifacts.

• Manage and generate test data, ensuring the necessary information is available.

• Oversee environments, including the creation, configuration, maintenance, and synchronization of development and testing environments.

• Contribute to the delivery of higher-quality, more secure, and more efficient IT outcomes.

• Plan, execute, and document various tests, including acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, non-functional, exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load tests.

• Develop both automated and manual scripts and analyze their results.

• Construct mocks, stubs, and simulators.

• Maintain system cycles, batch routines, interfaces, artifacts, and testing environments.

• Support the Product Owner in drafting acceptance criteria and approving sprint stories.

• Assist in writing automated unit tests.

• Employ ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example methodologies.

• Log defects, track test coverage, and suggest improvements for coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed and verifiable degree or qualification in Information Technology.

• Proven experience in test management and planning.

• Familiarity with test documentation.

• Experience in test automation, performance testing, and test execution.

• Understanding of common software defects and errors.

• Knowledge of test management, defect management, bug tracking, automation, performance testing, test planning, and test execution.

• Awareness of OWASP and vulnerability assessments.

• Understanding of requirements notations in both agile and traditional methodologies.

• At least one required certification: IBQTS ATC; ALATS CBTS or an equivalent/similar certification; CTFL; BSTQB CTFL-AT; or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester.
