Purchasing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the bidding process and manage all contractual agreements

• Handle invoice submissions and monitor project budgets

• Collaborate with Field Managers to ensure that contractors execute work as per contract specifications

• Negotiate to achieve the lowest feasible costs while sourcing innovative products to enhance cost efficiency and the overall quality and aesthetic of renovations

• Collaborate with senior management to establish specification levels

• Create comprehensive scopes of work and budgets for each renovation project

• Supervise, train, and terminate general contractors and subcontractors as necessary

• Build new contractor and vendor relationships through networking and outreach efforts

• Confirm that contractors are appropriately registered prior to commencing work

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience with a leading home builder or remodeling firm

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent higher education

• Familiarity with and ability to communicate in basic Spanish (preferred)
