Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee regional and global sourcing efforts for products and services.

• Engage in negotiations with suppliers and handle contracts, renewals, and supplier relationships.

• Create and manage RFIs, RFPs, and other materials related to sourcing.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance visibility into suppliers, spending, agreements, and business requirements.

• Spot and implement opportunities that yield measurable commercial benefits.

• Negotiate terms in line with internal policies.

• Formulate negotiating strategies that leverage BCD Travel’s position and strategic partnerships.

• Oversee contract renewal timelines and ensure business owners are engaged prior to actionable deadlines.

• Define SLAs based on stakeholder needs and industry best practices.

• Foster relationships with business owners, the Director of Strategic Sourcing, finance and accounting, legal, data privacy, and security departments.

• Assess, monitor, and report ROI through detailed calculations.

• Analyze sourcing requirements from cross-functional business leaders.

• Spearhead cross-functional sourcing and supplier management initiatives.

• Previous experience in Supply Chain Management.

• Background in technology, telecommunications, HR, and various sourcing engagements.

• Strong understanding of business principles.

• Proficient spoken and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

• Availability to work Eastern time zone hours to collaborate with global partners.
