
Public Sector Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at boosting commercial vehicle sales within the designated territory.
β’ Identify and engage potential public sector clients, including businesses, contractors, and medium-sized fleet owners.
β’ Perform comprehensive market analysis to comprehend customer requirements, preferences, and competitor actions.
β’ Build a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, qualifying leads, and transforming them into sales opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with the RVP of Public Sector Sales and the marketing team to devise and execute promotional strategies and campaigns.
β’ Execute field-based product demonstrations, including transporting vehicles to customer locations for walkarounds and on-site demonstrations.
β’ Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, dealers, and industry influencers.
β’ Act as the primary contact for customers within the assigned territory, addressing inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service.
β’ Conduct regular meetings, product demonstrations, and training sessions with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
β’ Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
β’ Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets and objectives, consistently meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals.
β’ Monitor sales activities, customer interactions, and progress utilizing HubSpot CRM software and other designated tools.
β’ Prepare precise and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for sales management.
β’ Continuously evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement and growth.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in B2B territory sales, ideally within the commercial vehicle sector, although other similar industries will be considered.
β’ A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to cultivate a successful sales territory.
β’ Solid knowledge or a willingness to learn about commercial vehicles, industry market trends, and regulations.
β’ Experience in selling within public sectors is preferred.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
β’ Strong negotiation and closing skills with an emphasis on developing long-term customer relationships.
β’ Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Proficient in CRM software, the MS Office suite, and other sales tools.
β’ Skilled in using MS Teams and Zoom for remote meetings, both internally and externally.
β’ A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for face-to-face sales meetings.
