Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee documentation of dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements.

• Assess CAD/RMS/mobile solutions and their integration with NCIC/state systems, alongside NIBRS reporting.

• Plan for data conversion, interface development, and ensure compliance with CJIS hosting standards.

• Assist in the implementation, testing, training, and launch phases of projects.

• When authorized, contribute qualifications and past-performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals.

• Collaborate on a project basis for ongoing public-sector consulting engagements.

• Engage in occasional client travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in implementing or managing public safety CAD and RMS systems.

• Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy and NIBRS reporting standards.

• Experience in law enforcement or emergency communications operations.

• Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

• Background in campus or university police operations.

• Experience with leading CAD/RMS vendors such as Tyler, Motorola, Hexagon, and CentralSquare.

• Previous roles as a dispatcher, records supervisor, or public safety IT lead.
