Public Policy and Government Affairs Summer Intern, Undergraduate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Contribute to initiatives in Public Policy, Government Relations, Healthcare Regulation, Legislative Affairs, Regulatory Analysis, Advocacy, and Strategic Communications.

• Gain insights into the processes and functionalities of the Managed Care sector.

• Enhance professional development by engaging in projects that benefit the organization.

• Explore various job roles within the Managed Care industry and investigate potential career paths.

• Utilize academic knowledge while acquiring new skills through participation in projects.

• Conduct research on legal, regulatory, and other relevant topics within the field and industry.

• Participate in training and development sessions.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college throughout the internship duration.

• The undergraduate program should ideally relate to the hiring department.

• A strong interest in healthcare policy, public affairs, and the interplay between government and business.

• Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be evaluated in accordance with the LA County Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
