PT Faculty – Graduate Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Deliver approved curricula and all teaching components in line with the university's master syllabus.

• Suggest curriculum modifications based on the requirements of the industry.

• Engage in continuing education programs and seminars to uphold industry knowledge and skills.

• Collaborate with program advisory committees as required.

• Administer assessment tools as requested by the assessment director or academic dean.

• Keep precise student attendance and academic records.

• Participate in faculty and in-service meetings.

• Take part in National American University events, including graduations and honors ceremonies, whenever possible.

• Report to an Academic Dean or Associate Dean.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• No travel is required.

• No supervisory duties involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctorate in accounting is required; or

• A doctorate alongside a sufficient blend of designated accounting qualifications.

• A master's degree in accounting, where applicable.

• Completion of six graduate-level courses in accounting, where applicable.

• An active accounting license or certification, where applicable.

• Five years of professional and managerial experience in accounting, where applicable.

• Five years of scholarly contributions in accounting, where applicable.

• Five years of documented post-secondary teaching experience in accounting, where applicable.

• ABD toward obtaining a doctorate in accounting, or ABD with a suitable combination of specified qualifications.

• Demonstrated management and leadership abilities.

• Strong organizational and research capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Robust clinical and professional skills.

• Capacity to speak, hear, read, see, write, type, dial, reach, and bend.

• Availability to work during daytime and evening hours.
