Manager – Seaware System, Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead the administration, configuration, and upkeep of the Seaware reservation system to support sales, operations, and accounting functions.

• Supervise enhancements, integrations, and upgrades of the system in collaboration with IT, Finance, and Operational teams.

• Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity to minimize errors or downtime.

• Guarantee the precise mapping of reservation data to the financial accounting system.

• Administer payments, refunds, chargebacks, and adjustments within the Seaware platform.

• Oversee accounting controls and reconciliation processes between Seaware and financial systems.

• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Management, Sales, and IT to define requirements and implement solutions.

• Provide expertise in financial features, system upgrades, and process optimization.

• Act as the main contact for finance-related issues within Seaware, handling troubleshooting and escalations.

• Create dashboards and reports to track outstanding balances.

• Analyze trends and anomalies in reservation and financial data, recommending corrective actions or process modifications.

• Prepare audit documentation and address inquiries from both internal and external auditors.

• Manage and mentor Seaware analysts and support specialists.

• Establish best practices, standard operating procedures, and training initiatives.

• Advocate for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a comparable Business Integration Role, ideally within the Luxury Cruise Industry.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering and implementing the Seaware reservation system for established cruise lines.

• Proven expertise in accounting and revenue recognition methodologies pertinent to the cruise line industry.

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise systems including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, Amadeus, Salesforce, and Seaware.

• In-depth understanding of cruise line processes in a startup environment to effectively build and adapt the mentioned systems.

• A solid track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs from inception to successful delivery.
