This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Deliver proficient and informed psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Midtown and remotely throughout New York State.
β’ Conduct phone consultations.
β’ Offer psychotherapy services to a caseload of approximately 28β30 clients for full-time roles, encompassing individuals, couples, partnerships with 3+ members, and families.
β’ Full-time status involves completing 25 sessions each week; smaller caseloads of 20β24 may be accommodated.
β’ Provide psychotherapy services to a minimum caseload of roughly 18 clients for part-time positions.
β’ Maintain case notes, logs, and all necessary documentation.
β’ Facilitate group therapy sessions as required.
β’ Option to contribute to blog writing four times a year.
β’ Engage in weekly or biweekly individual supervision and participate in weekly group clinical supervision as available.
β’ Assist in the development and execution of G&STC workshops, training sessions, and seminars as opportunities arise.
β’ Conduct marketing activities for personal practice and G&STC as necessary or desired.
β’ Hold an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed to practice in New York.
β’ Reside in New York or New Jersey.
β’ Commit to a minimum of three years with G&STC.
β’ Education, training, and proven success in employing modalities such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ At least one year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering psychotherapy.
β’ A minimum of one year of experience providing individual, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and/or family therapy.
β’ At least one year of experience working with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals.
β’ A minimum of one year of experience addressing sexual-related issues including sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain, and compulsive sexual behaviors.
β’ Must demonstrate a high level of competence regarding gender, sex, and sexuality, with specific expertise in areas such as working with LGBTQ+ communities, alternative sexualities, and sexual issues including anxiety, functioning, compulsive behaviors, and discomfort.
β’ Organized and capable of submitting progress notes and responding to emails promptly, in accordance with G&STC policies.
β’ Required to submit both a cover letter and resume.
β’ Candidates with their own private practices or those currently in another group practice will not be considered.
