Psychotherapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct phone consultations

• Deliver psychotherapy to individuals, couples, groups of three or more, and families

• Manage a full-time caseload of around 28–30 clients, completing 25 sessions weekly; smaller caseloads of 20–24 may be feasible

• Handle a part-time caseload of approximately 18 clients

• Keep detailed case notes, logs, and all necessary documentation

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as required

• Contribute to a blog four times a year, as desired

• Engage in weekly or biweekly individual supervision and participate in available weekly group clinical supervision

• Assist in the development and implementation of G&STC workshops, training, and seminars

• Undertake marketing tasks for oneself and G&STC as needed or as interested

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York

• Reside in NY or NJ

• Commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC

• Have education, training, and a proven track record in implementing modalities such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy

• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering psychotherapy

• Have at least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, multiple-partner relationship, and/or family therapy

• Accumulate at least 1 year of experience in therapy for LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals

• Gain at least 1 year of experience in addressing sexual issues like sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain, and compulsive sexual behaviors

• Demonstrate a high level of competence in gender, sex, and sexuality, with expertise in LGBTQ+ matters, alternative sexualities, and associated sexual issues

• Be organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails promptly, following G&STC policies

• Submit a cover letter and resume

• Therapists with their own private practices or those working in another group practice will not be considered
