Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient telepsychiatry services at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

• Provide treatment for adults aged 18 and older.

• Diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of psychiatric conditions.

• Perform 60-minute initial assessments and 20-minute follow-up appointments.

• Serve approximately 8 to 12 patients daily.

• Collaborate with a support team and utilize dedicated administrative assistance.

• Offer care without the requirement for on-call duties or supervision from Nurse Practitioners.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree in psychiatry.

• Successful completion of a 4-year Psychiatry residency accredited by ACGME.

• Board Certification in psychiatry is mandatory.

• An active medical license in West Virginia or a Letter of Qualification from the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required.

• Availability for 24 hours per week, from Monday to Wednesday, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.

• Experience and proficiency in treating adults with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses.

• Telehealth experience is preferred.

• Must reside within the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
