Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct video consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically justified.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.

• Collaborate with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists to coordinate treatment planning and care delivery.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while adhering to BetterHelp’s clinical and service standards.

• Offer feedback to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance the experience for both providers and patients.

• Make independent clinical decisions in alignment with relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.

• Proficient in utilizing technology and online tools for virtual care delivery.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

• Prior telemedicine experience is preferred.

• Possession of active medical licenses in multiple states is preferred.

• Fluency in additional languages is preferred.

• A valid medical license is required.

• Must reside in the United States.
