Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate video consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine platforms.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications as clinically warranted.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific requirements.

• Collaborate on treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while adhering to BetterHelp’s clinical and service standards.

• Offer insights to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance both provider and patient experiences.

• Make independent clinical decisions in line with relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medications when clinically appropriate and as allowed by state law.

• Proficient in using technology and online tools for delivering virtual care.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

• Must be located within the United States.

• Prior telemedicine experience is preferred.

• Holding active medical licenses in multiple states is preferred.

• Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
