Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out video consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.

• Collaborate on treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining clinical and service standards.

• Offer insights to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance the provider and patient experience.

• Make independent clinical decisions in compliance with relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience with prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.

• Proficient in using technology and online tools for virtual care delivery.

• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Previous experience in telemedicine is preferred.

• Active medical licenses in multiple states are preferred.

• Fluency in additional languages is preferred.
