Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.

• Collaborate on treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while adhering to BetterHelp’s clinical and service standards.

• Offer feedback to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance both provider and patient experiences.

• Make independent clinical decisions in compliance with relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable state law.

• Proficient in utilizing technology and online tools for virtual care delivery.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on a patient-centered approach.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Prior telemedicine experience is preferred.

• Active medical licenses in multiple states are preferred.

• Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
