Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic, evidence-informed psychiatric care in a virtual environment.

• Perform video consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically warranted.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to patient requirements.

• Collaborate on treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp’s licensed therapist network.

• Maintain BetterHelp’s clinical and service excellence standards.

• Provide insights to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance provider and patient experiences.

• Make autonomous clinical decisions in compliance with relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Current medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.

• Proficiency with technology and online tools for delivering virtual care.

• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centric focus.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Previous experience in telemedicine is preferred.

• Active medical licenses across multiple states are preferred.

• Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
