Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct video consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically suitable.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of care with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining BetterHelp’s clinical and service standards.

• Offer feedback to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance the provider and patient experience.

• Make clinical decisions independently, adhering to relevant state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• An active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by relevant state law.

• Proficiency in using technology and online tools to provide virtual care.

• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered focus.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Previous experience in telemedicine is preferred.

• Active medical licenses in multiple states are preferred.

• Fluency in additional languages is preferred.
