Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for patients in an outpatient environment.

• Deliver medication management and therapeutic services to a varied patient demographic.

• Administer TMS services, if applicable.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation that adheres to regulatory and organizational standards.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in psychiatric treatments and research methodologies.

• Refer patients for psychotherapy as necessary.

• Collaborate with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams to provide holistic treatment.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Advocate for clients' needs and rights, ensuring access to psychiatric services and medications.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state, or be willing to obtain one.

• Be a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO), or Board Prepared if within 5 years of completing residency or fellowship.

• Hold a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number.

• Have all licenses and certificates legally required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques.

• Exhibit knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment.
