Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Carry out thorough psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for outpatient clients.

• Deliver medication management and therapeutic services to a varied patient demographic.

• Offer TMS services, if relevant.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in psychiatric treatments and research methodologies.

• Refer patients for psychotherapy when necessary.

• Collaborate with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams to provide holistic treatment.

• Uphold confidentiality by maintaining accurate client records and completing documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for the needs and rights of clients, including their access to psychiatric services and medications.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in the relevant state, or a commitment to secure one.

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Board Prepared if within five years of completing residency or fellowship.

• A valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number.

• All licenses and certificates legally required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

• A robust understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic methods.

• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions in psychiatric care.
