Psychiatrist – MD, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake sessions and ongoing follow-up appointments.

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and assess mental health risks.

• Manage psychiatric medications and provide ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centered treatment plans and accurately document treatment recommendations.

• Communicate with patients and manage psychiatric medication prescriptions.

• Offer culturally sensitive care to patients with varying backgrounds, needs, diagnoses, and levels of complexity and severity.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

• Collaborate within Lyra’s connected provider network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry.

• Possess an unrestricted state license in Maryland; additional state licenses are advantageous.

• Strong preference for clinicians holding an active DEA license.

• Must have office space equipped for seeing clients.

• Ability to provide care across a comprehensive range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels.

• Preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
