Psychiatrist – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough mental health medication management through 60-minute intake sessions and ongoing follow-up consultations.

• Perform mental health risk evaluations and assessments of psychiatric medications.

• Offer continuous medication treatment.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans and record treatment recommendations.

• Communicate with patients and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Provide evidence-based, culturally sensitive care to patients with diverse backgrounds, diagnoses, complexities, and severity levels.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when suitable.

• Collaborate within Lyra’s connected provider network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certified MD or DO specializing in psychiatry.

• Active, unrestricted state license in New Jersey.

• Strong preference for clinicians who hold an active DEA license.

• Access to office space for client consultations.

• Capability to provide care across a full spectrum of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
