Psychiatric Supervising Physician – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the supervising physician for psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).

• Offer clinical supervision for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) providing psychotherapy, ensuring compliance with relevant state regulations and scope-of-practice guidelines.

• Develop and uphold clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations across psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services.

• Provide clinical consultation for complex case scenarios.

• Perform chart reviews and conduct quality audits.

• Advocate for behavioral health protocols and care standards.

• Engage in occasional case reviews and team meetings.

• Provide guidance on program development as the organization expands.

• Ensure clinical decision-making and oversight within the medical practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with Board certification in Psychiatry is required.

• Active psychiatry license in Pennsylvania and/or Vermont.

• Active unrestricted license in at least one participating state.

• Capability to obtain additional licenses with the support of the company.

• Preferred experience supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state settings.

• Strong understanding of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations and integrated behavioral health care models is strongly preferred.

• Proven leadership in clinical program development, provider oversight, and quality enhancement.

• Exceptional communication abilities with care teams, cross-functional partners, and patients.

• Comfort in a rapidly growing, remote-first organization.

• Availability of approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility based on program demands.
