Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults aged 2 to 26.

• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans focused on the whole child.

• Inform parents and caregivers about their child's mental health progress and treatment options.

• Supervise diagnostic testing procedures.

• Keep records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Provide care in a fully remote capacity, available only on weekends.

• Engage in weekly clinical consultations and opportunities for professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.

• PMHNP-BC certification required.

• Minimum of one year of independent psychiatric practice under licensure.

• Experience as a PMHNP working with children and adolescents.

• Active licensure in PA, VA, NJ, or MD, or a current license from another state with a willingness to obtain the necessary state licenses through Blackbird sponsorship.

• DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority are required.

• Proficient in Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Availability for weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM ET.
