Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform 60-minute psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments via remote communication.

• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

• Incorporate brief psychotherapy when clinically suitable.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership for support, escalation, and ongoing education.

• Work alongside therapists and other providers through integrated care plans, shared treatment insights, and team consultation forums.

• Utilize data-informed tools and measurement-based care to customize treatment plans and enhance outcomes.

• Develop a caseload and provide outstanding mental health care.

• Assist in refining workflows and care protocols.

• Contribute to the psychiatry program, services, and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Licensed to practice as a PMHNP in California.

• Willing to obtain additional state licenses.

• At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP.

• Active DEA license in California.

• Experience in delivering remote telepsychiatry services.

• Commitment to high-quality, measurement-based, collaborative care.

• Availability to begin work in October 2026.
