Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic assessments for adults and seniors.

• Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions.

• Create personalized treatment strategies.

• Manage psychiatric conditions through psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and non-pharmacological methods.

• Maintain a proactive intake schedule along with follow-up appointments.

• Employ measurement-based care tools effectively.

• Work collaboratively with care coordination and clinical team members.

• Identify suitable patients for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and facilitate referrals.

• Ensure precise medical record-keeping in line with clinic policies and regulations.

• Receive clinical feedback to enhance care and engage in clinical consultations.

• Diagnose intricate psychiatric disorders.

• Initiate and oversee psychopharmacological stabilization.

• Direct patients towards appropriate care pathways.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing.

• Board certification as a PMHNP from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Active DEA registration.

• Current BLS certification.

• Valid and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California.

• NP103 status is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Strong familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry techniques (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation) is highly desirable.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume intake setting with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination processes.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
