Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide superior, evidence-based mental health services to adults and seniors.

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations lasting 90 minutes.

• Implement Measurement-Based Care within a rapid-access clinical setting.

• Diagnose intricate psychiatric disorders.

• Initiate and oversee psychopharmacological stabilization.

• Create personalized treatment plans.

• Manage psychiatric conditions utilizing psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and alternative non-pharmacologic methods.

• Keep an active intake schedule with subsequent follow-up appointments.

• Identify suitable candidates for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and facilitate referrals.

• Ensure precise medical records are maintained in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

• Collaborate in real-time with the Care Coordination team and other clinical personnel.

• Accept feedback, enhance care, and participate in clinical consultations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.

• Board certification as a PMHNP from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Active DEA registration.

• Current BLS certification.

• An active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California.

• Preference for familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry methods, including TMS, esketamine/Spravato, and accelerated neurostimulation.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume intake setting with dynamic scheduling and stringent care coordination workflows.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must confirm whether future sponsorship will be necessary.
