Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for adults and older adults.

• Provide evidence-based treatment for mental health disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans.

• Manage psychiatric disorders utilizing psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and additional non-pharmacologic strategies.

• Maintain a robust intake schedule with follow-up appointments.

• Employ Measurement-Based Care tools.

• Identify patients suitable for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato.

• Initiate referrals for interventional psychiatry services.

• Keep precise medical records in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

• Collaborate with Care Coordination and other clinical team members.

• Receive feedback to enhance care and engage in clinical consultation.

• Direct patients into suitable care pathways.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing.

• Board certification as a PMHNP from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Active DEA registration.

• Current BLS certification.

• Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California.

• NP103 status is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry methods, including TMS, esketamine/Spravato, and accelerated neurostimulation, is highly preferred.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must have or be willing to obtain necessary California NP-furnishing and RN licenses as specified in the application form.
