Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic assessments for adults and older adults.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment to individuals experiencing mental health disorders.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient.

• Manage psychiatric conditions through psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacological methods.

• Keep an active intake schedule along with follow-up appointments.

• Implement measurement-based care tools effectively.

• Work in partnership with team members and the Care Coordination team to ensure optimal patient care.

• Recognize patients suitable for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato.

• Initiate appropriate patient referrals into relevant care pathways.

• Maintain precise medical records in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

• Participate in clinical consultations, accept feedback, and enhance care delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing.

• Possess board certification as a PMHNP from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Have an active DEA registration.

• Maintain current BLS certification.

• Hold an active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California.

• Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry techniques (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation) is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume intake setting with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must indicate whether future sponsorship will be necessary.
