Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Wisconsin.

• Carry out initial assessments.

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Maintain proactive monthly follow-ups with clients.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed interventions and ongoing care until treatment objectives are met.

• Offer combined medication management and therapy sessions.

• Deliver various types of talk therapy.

• Establish a personalized schedule within Lavender’s operational hours.

• Work in partnership with advanced practice nurses and the wider expert team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

• Valid Wisconsin Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong skills in assessment.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must have a personal computer.

• A quiet, professional space is required for tele-psychiatry appointments.

• DEA Certification is mandatory.

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week.

• Must be available during operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Weekend availability is necessary.

• Comfortable with providing various forms of talk therapy.

• Must be eligible to work with clients based in Wisconsin.
