Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Washington.

• Perform initial assessments of clients.

• Collaboratively create treatment strategies that may include medication, therapy, or both.

• Proactively engage with clients a minimum of once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and ongoing care.

• Provide continuous support until treatment objectives are met.

• Offer integrated medication management and therapy sessions.

• Collaborate effectively with advanced practice nurses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• Possession of an active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License in Washington.

• ANCC Board Certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health settings.

• Strong skills in assessment are essential.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills are needed.

• A proactive, client-focused work ethic is expected.

• Must have access to a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Active DEA Certification in Washington is required.

• A commitment of at least 16 hours per week is necessary.

• Availability is needed from Monday to Friday, including weekends.

• Capability to provide various types of talk therapy is essential.
