Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively establish treatment plans with clients that may involve medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Proactively check in with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of the suggested interventions

• Offer continuous care until treatment objectives are met

• Provide appointments that integrate both medication management and therapy

• Facilitate various forms of talk therapy

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Utah

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Valid Utah Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• DEA Certification

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health settings

• Strong skills in assessment

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer

• Must have access to a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week

• Availability to work during operational hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Comfortable with delivering various types of talk therapy

• Comfortable with conducting tele-psychiatric visits for clients in Utah
