Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments with clients.

• Collaboratively create treatment strategies that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Engage in proactive monthly follow-ups with clients.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed interventions and ongoing care.

• Maintain care until treatment objectives are met.

• Conduct appointments that integrate medication management and therapy.

• Offer tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Delaware.

• Establish a personalized schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• Must possess an active Delaware Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification is necessary.

• DEA Certification is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in adult mental health is mandatory.

• Strong assessment skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.

• A client-focused and ambitious work ethic is expected.

• Candidates must have their own computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry appointments.

• A minimum commitment of 16 hours per week is necessary.

• Availability is required from Monday to Friday and weekends.

• Comfort in providing various forms of talk therapy is essential.

• Willingness to conduct tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in Delaware is required.
