Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Pennsylvania.

• Carry out initial assessments.

• Collaboratively create treatment strategies that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Actively follow up with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed interventions.

• Deliver continuous care until the treatment objectives are met.

• Offer various forms of talk therapy, including sessions that combine medication management and therapy.

• Establish a personal schedule within the operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Work alongside advanced practice nurses and integrate with a broader team of experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• A valid Pennsylvania Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License is necessary.

• ANCC Board Certification is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health is required.

• Strong skills in assessment are a must.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills are essential.

• A proactive and client-focused work ethic is expected.

• Must possess a personal computer and have access to a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Availability for a minimum of 16 hours per week is required.

• Weekend availability is necessary.

• Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License is mandatory.

• ANCC Board Certification is required.

• DEA Certification is necessary.
