Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments of clients.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Regularly check in with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of the suggested interventions.

• Continue to provide care until the treatment objectives are met.

• Offer various forms of talk therapy.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Pennsylvania.

• Create a personal schedule within the operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and the wider healthcare team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.

• Current Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License in Pennsylvania.

• ANCC Board Certification is required.

• DEA Certification is necessary.

• At least 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong skills in assessment.

• Exceptional abilities in communication and documentation.

• A driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week.

• Must be available Monday through Friday as well as weekends.

• Comfortable with providing various forms of talk therapy.
