Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments.

• Collaboratively design treatment plans with clients that include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Ensure proactive monthly follow-ups with clients.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and ongoing care until treatment objectives are met.

• Conduct combined medication and therapy sessions.

• Execute tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in New York.

• Create a personal schedule within operational hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and the expert support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.

• Current New York Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• DEA Certification.

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong assessment capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer.

• Must have a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week.

• Must be available Monday to Friday and on weekends.

• Comfortable providing a variety of talk therapy modalities.
