Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Conduct monthly follow-ups with clients to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and ensure ongoing care

• Maintain care until treatment objectives are met

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in New York

• Establish a personal schedule that fits within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Work in partnership with advanced practice nurses and physician collaborators

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree

• Valid New York Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• DEA Certification

• A minimum of 2 years experience in adult mental health

• Strong assessment capabilities

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Motivated, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry appointments

• Commitment to a minimum of 16 hours per week

• Availability for tele-psychiatric appointments for clients in New York

• Comfortable administering medication, therapy, or a combination of both treatment approaches

• Availability on weekends

• 1099 contractor position
