Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in New Jersey.

• Perform initial assessments of clients.

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may involve medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Proactively engage with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions.

• Deliver continuous care until the treatment objectives are met.

• Offer various forms of talk therapy, including sessions that integrate both medication management and therapeutic appointments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• Must possess an active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License in New Jersey.

• ANCC Board Certification is necessary.

• DEA Certification is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health is essential.

• Strong skills in assessment are required.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills are necessary.

• A motivated, client-focused work ethic is essential.

• Candidates must have their own computer.

• A quiet and professional environment for conducting tele-psychiatry sessions is required.

• A minimum commitment of 16 hours per week is expected.

• Availability on weekends is necessary.

• A New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License is mandatory.

• ANCC Board Certification is required.

• DEA Certification is necessary.
